Tree work

Specialists in Riparian tree work, conservation and safety work on wild trout rivers across Derbyshire. This includes tree safety work as well as creating habitat for the trout and other wildlife. The treatment of Japanese Knotweed and other invasive species is also something we are able to do.

Forestry

Low impact systems are often a priority for woodlands. Our equipment is designed to make as small an impact on the woodland as possible. Selecting individual trees for removal, without the need for forwarders and loaders, reducing damage to surrounding trees and habitat. We are able to process most timber on site either as logs or using our mobile timber mill to create boards and beams.

Commercial

We cover maintenance of trees for site projects up to clearing woodlands for development. Clearing trees from power lines and clearance on roads and rail tracks. With specialist lifting and winching equipment, we can cope with any project. Regular tree maintenance on industrial sites, clearing trees from cables and buildings and new planting of native trees.

Conservation

In sensitive areas we use battery powered powered equipment as much as possible. Working on SSSi sites, Archaeologically sensitive sites, conservation areas we are well aware of the guidelines we have to follow.

Qualifications and Insurance

We are fully insured for up to £10 million. Our CHAS registration covers all our legal health and safety requirements. All staff are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked. All staff have the correct qualifications for the work they do.

Domestic

From small gardens to large estates, our equipment and experience allows us to cope with the most complex of tree removals. Many trees require an arborist to climb them to complete the work due to restricted access. If possible we will always use a MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) as it is much safer and more efficient than climbing.

Councils

With ongoing work across the Hope Valley for local parish councils, as well as schools and colleges, all our staff are DBS checked.
